Mic Crenshaw remains a staple of Northwest hip-hop after over a decade. The heavy hitting lyricist is a member of Hungry Mob, Sucka Punch, Synapse, David Park's Panic Project as well as Womb Dialectic. A dedicated educator in the Portland Public schools, he also makes time to teach hip-hop workshops through various community organizations. Mic represented Portland at the 2001 National Poetry Slam competitions.

Turiya Autry, dubbed by the Oregonian as "one of Portland's busiest poets", served as Portland's slammaster for the last two years, is half of the duo Good Sista/ Bad Sista and a member of Womb Dialectic. Long time educator, she teaches in the Portland Public Schools as well as through various community writer-in-residency programs. Turiya represented Portland at the 2000 & 2001 National Poetry Slam competitions.
