Air Force Names First Woman to Lead Military Recruiting
San Antonio Business Journal
July 14, 2006
The
Air Force Recruiting Service is the entity that's responsible for
managing all of the Air Force recruiting offices nationwide. The
command headquarters are located at Randolph Air Force Base in San
Antonio.
Brig. Gen. Suzanne M. Vautrinot is currently the deputy director
of strategic security for the deputy chief of staff's office at Air
Force headquarters in Washington, D.C.
She is replacing Brig. Gen. Robertus "Dutch" Remkes, who is accepting a
position as director of plans and policy at the U.S. European Command
headquarters at Stuttgart-Vaihingen, Germany.
Air Force officials will host a private change-of-command ceremony on July 17.
This archive consists of a topically organized selection of
articles culled by members of the Counter-Recruitment List Serve from printed

groups with similar goals.
Because our web site is public, personal comments about the
articles and (frequent) corrections of reporters’ errors are also not included.
If an article interests you, we encourage you to return to the
Counter-Recruitment List Serve and put the article’s headline into the search
line, which should bring up (often wise and useful) commentary and corrections.
